Simple and easy frittata. Frittatas were once my culinary nemesis. Serving Frittatas for Breakfast or Dinner. One frittata makes plenty for four to six people with a side salad or other steamed vegetable, and more than enough for two.
You can get creative with leftover frittata—use a slice as a sandwich filling, or break it up for easy breakfast tacos. An easy, healthy dinner or brunch! It's easy and versatile, so I thought with Easter coming up this weekend, you may like a frittata recipe idea… or five! You can cook Simple and easy frittata using 8 ingredients and 14 steps. Ingredients of Simple and easy frittata
- You need 1/3 cup of diced green pepper or any other.
- It's 1/3 cup of diced red onion or any other.
- You need 1/3 cup of diced cheedar cheese or really any kind you prefer.
- Prepare 1/3 cup of milk.
- Prepare 2 slices of bacon diced.
- It's 4 of lg.eggs. picture shows 3 but I added one.
- You need Pinch of salt and pepper.
- Prepare 8 of in non-stick pan oven safe.
It's made with plenty of eggs, rich bacon, vibrant brightly flavored tomatoes, fresh spinach and creamy Swiss cheese. What more could you want for breakfast? This classic easy Frittata is perfect for brunch days. Whisk 'em together, season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes, and you're ready to start building.
Simple and easy frittata step by step
- Dice all your onions green pepper and cheese..
- Dice your bacon on a separate cutting board..
- Preheat your pan to med/high heat..
- Add your bacon and brown stirring to get an even cook..
- Once browned remove and put on paper towel. Do not remove the bacon grease. No butter needed here. Add onions and peppers and saute untill soft and translucent. About 5-7 mins..
- While your sauteing your onions and peppers crack your eggs in a bowl. Add your milk salt and pepper then whisk untill you achieve an even texture..
- Put your bacon back in stir throughly....
- Now pour your whisked eggs in and add your cheese. You can use shredded cheese but I find that the cubes create little pillows of silkiness goodness!!! "GUILTY" day drinking.....
- Now put your pan into a preheated oven set a 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 mins. After 15 mins. Or so use your oven mitt and shake your pan the frittata should move effortless around your bottom of the non-stick pan..
- If the middle is still a little loose witch almost always is put in for another 5 mins or so. Watch it closely at this point don't want to over cook..
- Slice and serve. Hope you all enjoy!!!!.
